All I can say is that this review left me and my team speachless. Well nearly anyway. So many features and advances and overall performance and specifications that Im sure we will need to review this card yet again when more games come out that will actualy utilize all the features this card has to offer.
For now, HANG ON MAN! This is a ride eh!

Not sure where I got this, but its a must for people with internet connection and key problems playing single player.
Problem:
When the game boots up, it asks me to enter my CD-Key again: When I do, it says "This CD-Key is already in use".
Other Symptoms:
* This happens even AFTER I install the crack from the \deviance directory from the ISO image.
* The instructions say to "block Quake 4 from accessing the internet with my firewall", but my Service Pack 2 firewall doesn't pop up when I run Quake 4!
* When I add an exception to the SP-2 Firewall and leave it unchecked, or leave the IP range of machines able to access it to a 192.x.x.x IP address, I STILL get the "This CD-Key is already in use" message!
Solution:
EDIT YOUR TCP/IP HOSTFILE!
1. Start -> "Run"
2. Enter "c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts" without quotes.
3. A dialogue opens that asks which program you want to use to open the file. Choose "Notepad".
4. Now you will see a display explaining what the hostfile is and what it does. Go to the very last line in the entire document... the one that says "127.0.0.1 localhost".
5. In the line after "127.0.0.1 localhost", you will add "127.0.0.1 q4master.idsoftware.com".
6. Save changes, exit the document.
7. Launch Quake 4. You will see,

Ive not loaded this specific build and I am at work so I cant test it anyway. I did however load a version of this game and it was simply amazing to have a 3dgame of any calibur that the entire size is only 97k. Click the picture and check it out eh. ;)

Howdy folks. Once again Charter has been taken a dive. I can't seem to get a good ping at night at all these days. At nights is the ONLY time I get to actualy play and thats when it just dies out. :( I've left messages on the DSL REPORTS FORUMS UNDER THE CHARTER INTERNET SECTION without any help from any charter people. Back in 2004 I got some help from a night manager that is no longer the night manager and I feel there is no help.
Here is what I face every night and tonight is a "GOOD" night even. :(
Ive had reference to these issues from back when in THIS ARTICLE RIGHT HERE!
Please Charter look into this issue as it is sincerely an issue that cannot be ignored any longer. The ONLY reason I have charter is to play games at night and I cant do that. Help.

I just got off the phone 30 minutes after typen this article out and it appears that for the past 3 months my speeds have slowed down to 1.6mb as well as my high pings. I cleared the temps/cache ect ect ect... A trouble ticket now and maybe I'll try a new modem but either way when the charter guy gets here between 1-5p.m. it wont be like it is when its 8:00p.m. at nights. Either way it's NOT my stuff at least so hopefully the Charter peeps will fix this issue. :)
