Been awhile folks. I've often wondered how I could find information on a specific video card that would cover its core/memory speeds, there Direct limit and just other things like Pixel and Vertex shaders. Well here it tis.
It looks like rojak covers nearly anything or used to be anything thats anything for a video card.

Find the artical RIGHT HERE!

Thanks to Adrian Rajak for listing so many details on these cards.
Have a good`n folks!

Howdy folks. Been awhile since Ive done anything or felt like doing anything.

My family has split apart and its taken weeks to rebuild any kind of motivation, heart or the "want to" to even breath.
I have finaly been able to juggle work and parenting. I have 2 children for those that dont know. Annika Marie (5) and Brailey Rae (2.5) :) So they have taken up an emmense ammount of time for awhile and now I have a few free momments that I need to do some kind of mod or somethen. But I need your help peeplits. :)

It's a brand new year (Man I still cant beleive its 2005) and right now I'd like to do some kind of mod but dont know what to do yet. Someone needs to send me an email and give me an idea or somethen.. OR someone needs to stop being lazy and send me some pix of there mod and ill post it and write up all the stuff about it with there full credit. :)

Hope everyone had a New Year as I have met someone very special to me and it's realy brightened my life and I'm very thankful for it.

Have a good`n folks and hope someone sends me some kind of idea on what I could fry I mean mod next. :)

UPDATED

**THIS REVIEW WAS DONE WITH AN AMD64 3400+ 1meg Cache**

Howdy folks. Wanted to let ppl know how this xp-120 performed with and without a fan and I was pretty amazed, for the good, on how well it dissipated heat. The fan I used was a Sunon 120x120x38mm Ball Bearing Fan w/ 4pin 108CFM 42dBA.
I also used Arctic silver 5 and a very thin layer covering the entire cpu surface was well as the surface of the bottom of this heatsink.
Here are the results.

with fan
---------
41c idle w/fan
51c with fan under full load after 11 minutes
41c with fan after 3 minutes

without fan
-----------------
45c without fan
75c under load for 5 solid minutes total of 11 minutes
66c after 20seconds and idle
53c after 5 minutes idle without fan

Click the picture for a initial review of this sink working on the KV8-PRO motherboard.

This initial review of this sink was to let people know this sink will fit on an ABIT KV8-PRO motherboard.

*NOTE* This motherboard/cpu/thermal review was completely done outside of my case and im fully aware this will influence realtime use temps within a case against room temperature.*

There was also issues of people haveing to bend there capacitors on this specific board by haveing there XP-120 turned the opposite direction of the way I have it.

Today I socked this massive heatpipe hog daddy on my new Abit KV8-Pro baord.
This is the Thermalright XP-120 Heatsink/pipe. I've dealt with Thermalright (not thermaltake) in the past and they are simply the best of the best air cooling heatsink makers that you can get.
This one not only works realy well, but looks awesome also. Btw this KV8-Pro board is normal atx size. :) Just makes the board look small. :P

Finaly got some pix to at least show this mod and I have to say that I have not seen anyone else try this mod before. :P

Sanding our BGA ram on our $100-$300 video card's on our search for the "just 1 more mhz" overclockers quest. :P

I'd like to see someone try this mod with a before the sanding with sinks and after sanding with sinks to see if they do in fact get much if any overclock. :P

"Pix of the Month" This mod is completely and udderly worthless, useless and took up a few moments of time to make. So is socken a heatsink/fan on your led flashlight worth it? You bet!
