Howdy folks. I've been waiting to buy this card for awhile now. I seen the first price of $649 and thought, Good Lord.....Well maybe it will last longer than what I am thinking. But today I see the price is $799 and all I can say is is "Legal Thievery"! Yes it's a word I like to use for when Cops pull people over and give tickets but in this case its the video card manufacturer that is given out the tickets. I mean come on man. I'd almost buy a slower ATI card just to bypass nVidia for such an outrageouse cost of this card. Yes it is clocked alot higher than the 256mb version and has 512mb of ram but the priceing is simply an insult for ONE single card. My 9 cents worth and thats how I see it.
I was totaly gonna buy one of these when it was released but do to the current, "Sources close to Nvidia commented that if you can sell a product, whatever the price, it means it's not too expensive " That to me says nVidia sucks the high hard one and there attitude towards it just sucks.
Performance wise (Spec sheet at least for now), AWESOME CARD! Price wise, SUCKY SUCK SUCKER SUCKEN! Its just simply not right.
I'm done for a bit as I have heard the voices tell me so.

I see they have pulled that card from the mwave site. It could have been a flake or they just sold out from people buying it all up at that fantastic price. :) Hopefully it was just bogus and nVidia won't be a retard about it. It could also have been posted by nVidia to just see how people would react with that price before monday to just see how much they could sell it for. Who knows. Either way the price was set to high from whoever posted it up there.
